When dried, European and American plums are usually dubbed "prunes"; their Uzbek kin (8 oz.; $4.99) were stuck on "plum." The sour, uninflected flavor would have been more enjoyable given more flesh, less pit. Good value, though, on those Turkish apricots (sale; $3.49 per pound, with no pits) and on plump packs of trail mix in various combinations. For the picky customer (count me one), there's a DIY trail-mix option, too.
