This mural would have been a much later addition to the Italian tricolor motif that frames the door, decorates the siding (though it's very faded) to the left, and even colors the security grate to the right of the telephone. For all I know, Melina's pizza was off the hook, but by the date of my visit it had been permanently disconnected.
