Though berry picking is popular in the warmer months, the Finger Lakes region of New York is better known as grape country. Concords and their kin are pressed into duty at nearly 100 wineries — and in hundreds of home kitchens, where their most celebrated use is between two crusts. The folks at Stone Arch Farms, which sits near Seneca Lake, may well serve hot grape juice deep into the winter, but the grapes themselves, and the pie (slice, $2; whole, $15) will surely vanish before the first frost.
