(This venue is closed.) The grits are buttery, the salmon cakes are crisp.
This walkdown halal café also does up its grits with cheese, garlic, spinach, broccoli, or tomato, as you please; the salmon cakes are amenable to a splash of hot sauce or lovely just as they are. If not chicken and waffles, next time I may have to try the fried bologna.
