Albeit a small one. Pasembur usually features fritters, tofu, perhaps some exotica; mine was a basic mix of shredded vegetables and sliced egg slathered in a spicy-sweet sauce. I suspect that the proprietor was concerned for my palate, but language barriers got in the way.
On the plus side, the total cost, including my cendol (Chen-dul) — a chilled coconut-milk-bathed bowlful of pandan-tinted rice flour noodles — was just rm 4, or about $1.15 at the time.
