Constructed in 1934 for Frederick William Irving Lundy, whose initials still mark many of the doorways, this "fine example of the Spanish Colonial Revival style" was home to an American seafood restaurant for more than 40 years. Fanciful indicia of that bill of fare are still in place, if not easy to see, above several canopied entrances.
The restaurant, which shuttered upon Lundy's death in the late 1970s, was revived for about ten years at the turn of the century. Today the building is known as Lundy's Landing Shopping Plaza; the prime tenant is the Russian-themed market Cherry Hill.
