Not all secrets will be revealed. The senior member of the Samosa Queens team graciously advised my dining buddy on the finishing touches for his jalebi (identified, at this Bangladeshi stall, by the name jolopy). About the snack shown here, however, we learned little, except that the condiments were not run-of-the-mill tamarind and coriander and that the golden spheroids offered more flavors than a glance had suggested.
