The effervescent lettering on this can of Natakhtari brand fizzy pear lemonade (330 ml., $1.49) is typical of the homeland's alphabet. It's a Georgian thing. So is the usual constellation of khachapuri, baked in this grocery's kitchen, albeit in a conventional oven; a traditional toné is anticipated soon. Despite the heat, I might have ventured a fresh, gooey cheesebread if I hadn't just pushed myself away from an hours-long, lamb-intensive Azerbaijani lunch. (More on that meal to come.)
