Gently seasoned, crusty outside, moist and yielding inside, Faidley's jumbo lump crab cake (above) is widely regarded as one of Baltimore's best. A later crab cake, at L.P. Steamers (below), might have been a letdown if not stuffed inside a pan-fried soft crab. Not shown: the standard accompaniment, Utz potato chips.
