A native New Yorker and longtime reader of Eating In Translation — nearly a decade ago, he offered a hot tip on where to track down a particular hot mustard — wrote today with news of his company. He works in Hunts Point for The Chef's Warehouse, which in normal times supplies restaurants, hotels, caterers, and other food-service businesses throughout the New York Tristate area.
Times are not normal, and so in recent days his company has launched a home-delivery business while continuing to supply restaurants that are soldiering along. The Chef's Warehouse now supplies homebound cooks, too, at all levels of expertise — no culinary degree required.
